Selling off two gorgeous Nakaya fountain pens for medical expenses. I love them, but I don’t use them often enough to justify holding onto them any longer.

Nakaya Piccolo Writer in Heki-Tamenuri finish with a gold clip $SOLD
14k gold medium nib with matching cartridge converter
Includes the original bamboo box with the sticker from Nibs.com.

This is the smaller writer that is about 5” in length in the warm brown urushi finish with light green sections. This is my prefered Nakaya model despite having fairly large hands, and the clip is *super* handy for preventing the cap from rolling. The clip has a few faint microscratches from light use and the pen has always been stored in the box or in a Franklin-Christoph leather pouch, so there is no UV damage to the beautiful urushi finish. I can’t see any noticeable microscratches on the pen or cap, but since this pen has been used (but babied!), there might be some I don’t notice.

Nakaya Cigar in Aka-tamenuri $SOLD
14k dual tone fine nib with matching cartridge converter.

This is the full cigar length pen about 6” in length. This is probably my favorite urushi finish of them all with a deep crimson that fades to a brighter red at the joints. I absolutely adore this pen, but I prefer broad cursive italic nibs. I was hoping that this nib would inspire me to like fine nibs more, but I find myself spending more time looking at this pen rather than writing with it. It deserves to make someone else really happy. This pen is in outstanding condition because I wrote with it so rarely, and it has always been kept in the box or in a Franklin-Christoph pouch. I can only see light signs of wear. For the life of me, I can’t find the bamboo sleeve that came with this pen.

Prices include shipping to the CONUS. If you would like the original Nakaya wooden box, I’m happy to mail it as well for $12. I accept Venmo, PayPal and CashApp. Pens are not considered reserved until payment is received.

Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions!
