Hi all,

These pens have been restored inside and outside and are ready to fill with ink and use, unless noted otherwise.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, Shipping, Etc." at the bottom of this post.

#1. circa 1930 Dixie oversize fountain pen in jade green. This isone of the most beautiful jade green pens I have ever owned. BTW, I was not the one who highlighted the imprint. The color of the pen is exceptional and the gold filled trim is perfect. The nib is a replacement made by Gold Medal. It is a smooth writing rigid Fine 14K. Dixie pens have interested me for a long time. They are difficult to find here on the U.S. West Coast. The pens were made in Libertyville, Illinois by a man who had earlier worked for W.A. Sheaffer's Co., George Kraker, as I recall. The Michael - George Co. also had a pen factory in Grand Haven, Michigan and made Pencraft, and some other brands of pens. If I am not mistaken, they also made Yankee pens.Anyway this is one of their early attempts to make a somewhat streamline pen. These pens are decent quality. Capped the pen measures 5 3/16 inches or 13.1 cm. The diameter is close to the same as a Parker Duofold Senior.

Price reduced to $235.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S. Foreign

2. 1930's Pencraft oversize combination fountain pen/pencil in black and white pearl. This is a large combo. The top of the clip and the ball has some brassing, as you can see in the photos. The lever has some brassing in places along the top edge and a thin line around the small edge of pencil nozzle. The color of the white pearl is not perfect, but it is exceptional. There is a bit of discoloration on the threads and where the cap covers the barrel. The pencil mechanism is working smoothly and propels and repels the lead. The nib is a smooth wet writing semi-Flex Fine. The nib is the correct one marked Pencraft 14K - 6. Capped the combo measures 5 7/8 inches or 14.9 cm. This combo was made in Libertyville, Illinois by a man who had earlier worked for W .A. Sheaffer's Co., George Kraker, as I recall. The Michael - George Co. also had a pen factory in Grand Haven, Michigan and made Pencraft, and some other brands of pens. If I am not mistaken, they also made Yankee pens. The Pencraft pens were made both in Michigan and Illinois. I think this is probably the only Pencraft combo that I have seen personally.

3. circa 1931 Parker Duofold "Vest Pocket" set in Jade Green. This set has pocket clips and no rings on the tops. The pen has some obvious discoloration on the barrel. There is no brassing on the gold filled trim. the name "Esther" nicely engraved on the barrel of the pen and pencil. I have NOT restored the set. I have had it in my collection for about 10 years and just enjoyed it as it is. The pencil mechanism is working well. Capped the pen measures 3 3/8 inches or 8.7 cm.

Price $300.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
