FS: Ohashido

Ohashido is an extremely small maker of high quality artisan pens in Japan. Their very low volume make the pens unusual and difficult to find. Their pens exude a simple elegant charm. If you look up "wabi sabi" in the dictionary, you might see a picture of this pen!

This slender Ohashido beauty is a lovely burgundy color with black finials and an extra large 18K gold band. The slender pen measures approximately 5 3/8 inches long capped and is cartridge converter filled. The 14K gold nib is unmarked for size but to me writes like a Medium as you can see in the writing sample below. An expert in vintage Japanese pens tells me he feels the pen likely dates to the 1990's.

The pen is in excellent pre-owned condition and will be supplied with converter but without box.
