You haven't given many details (barrel inscription, etc) or close-up photos, but I'll hazard a guess.

The cap *could* be a bandless model, but judging by the taper on the open end of the cap, I'm wondering if there was a crack and it was sanded down. In any event, the clips on these pens were held in place by the black cap top, which is threaded into the cap. It appears the original clip was lost (you can source replacements) and someone slipped on an "accomodation" clip. I have a funny feeling this isn't an oddball Duo, just one that has been tinkered with.

You probably want to dive into Duofold information (http://parkercollector.com/duofold.html) at ParkerCollector.com.

Looks like a Junior size to me. besides what Jon said, the nib is not original, it has been replaced by a modern one.

Any idea of the date of the shells / cap please.

It measures about 117 mm - Cap closed on shells ( last image ).

You missed an important point: can't tell much without info. For instance, dating is highly dependent on the barrel engraving, which changed over time. Much of that is documented in the link I offered before. As a general rule, here is something I posted on reddit for the younger/newer fountain pen crowd to assist in IDs:

I just thought I would throw this out there. We get a lot of threads asking people if they can ID a pen, and some of us are more than willing to do so. However, one can only do a good job based on the amount of info we are given. Here are some tips:

Take as many photos as possible (see below). Only one or two makes it very difficult to ID many pens.
Shots you want to include:

[LIST=1]
Pen closed (cap on)
Pen posted (cap on the back of the barrel, nib exposed)
Give us your best possible close-up of the top (face) of the nib
Underside of nib if you can (sometimes the feed helps to ID)
Show us the filling system if vintage (lever, button, vac, etc)
The clip (you'd be surprised by how many pens can be identified by their clip).

Take photos in good light
You don't have to be a pro, a phone cam can usually do it, but do everything you can to have it be at least in focus
If it isn't apparent in the photos, note down any writing, text or imprint on the pen - always look on the clip, the face of the nib, and the barrel for any manufacturer ID

I hope that doesn't seem like too much, and I realize that some ID shots are in a flea market, etc. However, if you can cover as many of the bases above as possible, you'll have a far higher likelihood of a solid ID of the pen in question.

Jon,

Many thanks for your comments and tips on asking for help in identifying Parker pens.

I am sure they will greatly assistance me on the future.

To me it looks like a Streamline Junior, anywhere between 1929 and early 30īs.

I could swear the cap pictured has a channel where a single band would go. But did narrow bands ever come in singles? I thought they were in 2 or 3.

The cap has definitely been reshaped. Like Jon said, to remove a crack. Sand off the crack past the bottom band?

Also isn't the section shape supposed to be a little different on the streamline duofold?

What's the complete barrel and nib imprint?

A great many thanks for ALL the replies.

I greatly appreciate them.

It was a pen I saw on ebay UK, have never seen a Parker cap with an outer grip clip before.
