3 models were launch in 1993 like a trilogy.

Name: FUJI (Wisteria)
Artist: Yasunori Sakamoto
Launch: in 1993
This models was launched as a successor models of our 70th Anniversary fountain pen.
There are three patterns which are -OB (wild flower), -FU (wisteria) and -HG (Japanese bush clover).
The concept was "the soul of Japanese".
The three artisans were requested to come up with their ideas, having inspiration from poetry about flowers in Kokin Wakashu* and Manyoshu*.
Wisteria was one of them made by Yasunori.
The other two were wild flower (-OB/ obana) by Kyusai Yoshida and Japanese bush clover (-HG/ hagi) by Hyakusen Murata.

*Kokin Wakashu: an early anthology of the Japanese poetry (waka)
*Manyoshu: the oldest extant collection of Japanese poetry
