1. 1940s era post-war Sheaffer lever fill pen. #79 short Triumph nib - firm fine tip. Black pen with gold-filled trim. Modest brassing to trim. Small dent in the cap lip. Small scratches on the pen, but nothing too bad. White dot on the end of the cap rather than above the clip. Very smooth nib - would make a good everyday writer. Overall a classic Sheaffer with an interesting location for the white dot. Pen has a brand new sac. $40 shipped in the lower 48 states.

2. 1930s era Sheaffer vac fill Balance. This appears to be an early vac fill pen with flat feed that lacks the "tail" that was used on the later feeds. Serialized Feathertouch #5 nib is a firm, medium nib. Has a really interesting spiral ink window in the barrel. Pen is in pretty good condition overall. Pen has new seal, cover washer, and piston head gasket. Pen writes nicely for the most part but occasionally a bubble forms at the top of the feed, which requires a shake of the pen to get the ink flowing again. As far as I can tell, this seems to be a problem with the early-type feed like this. So I'll drop the price a bit. $35 shipped in the lower 48 states.
