Hi all,

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, Shipping, Etc." at the bottom of this post.

4. 1960's Sheaffer's PFM 5 (V) in burgundy with gold filled cap. These are an oversized pen and the PFM V's were pretty much the apex of the series. The top of the cap has a very thin line of brassing and a bump mark on the edge. There is also an extremely shallow bump mark towards the bottom of the cap and a small dent (1.5 mm?) next to the clip. The pens have a Snorkel filling tube and filling system, the last Snorkel model produced by Sheaffer's. The nib is a smooth writing fat Fine 14K inlaid into the section. The ink sac and a barrel o-ring have been replaced. Capped the pen measures 5 5/16 inches or 13.1 cm. The barrel diameter is 1/2 inch or 12.7 cm.

Price further reduced to $295.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

5. ~SOLD~ to J.A.

circa 1931 Sheaffer's full standard size White Dot Lifetime Balance pen in "Emerald" and black aka Marine Green. I believe this is the earliest version of the Balance in this color. The barrel imprint is deep and it has the patent number. There are tiny specks of brassing on either side of the clip ball. The barrel does not appear to have any discoloration. The nib is a very smooth writing Fine 14K Lifetime. Capped the pen measures 5 3/8 inches or 13.7 cm. The condition is Excellent.

~SOLD~ to J.A. $165.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

6. circa 1930 Dixie oversize fountain pen in jade green. This isone of the most beautiful jade green pens I have ever owned. BTW, I was not the one who highlighted the imprint. The color of the pen is exceptional and the gold filled trim is perfect. The nib is a replacement made by Gold Medal. It is a smooth writing rigid Fine 14K. Dixie pens have interested me for a long time. They are difficult to find here on the U.S. West Coast. The pens were made in Libertyville, Illinois by a man who had earlier worked for W.A. Sheaffer's Co., George Kraker, as I recall. The Michael - George Co. also had a pen factory in Grand Haven, Michigan and made Pencraft, and some other brands of pens. If I am not mistaken, they also made Yankee pens.Anyway this is one of their early attempts to make a somewhat
streamline pen. These pens are decent quality. Capped the pen measures 5 3/16 inches or 13.1 cm. The diameter is close to the same as a Parker Duofold Senior.

Price reduced to $235.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S. Foreign
shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail. I also ship to other countries by Priority
Mail. I can also ship to other countries by Express International Mail,
if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
