Currently Amazon has Iro inks for a good price and free shipping. Every one I checked is either $23.99 or $24.45 and as always free shipping over $25.

Guess you will have to buy TWO!

I was going to order but it said ships in 3 to 5 weeks. Did anyone else get that?

Coming from Japan...at $19.99 per bottle and free shipping (when purchasing at least $25) I figure that I can wait.....

Mine is in stock and is supposed to arrive on Wednesday, FWIW. It probably depends which color you order.

I guess that means you've won twice in one day!

Yes, we're a hockey family, and that win was something else.

Also the ink should be pretty nice, too! Shin-kai. :)

Yeah, I'm definitely buying a few bottles. I really should keep a database of ink so I know what I already have.

Take me out behind the shed and beat me.

In for my second bottle of Tsuki-yo (in less than a week) and a bottle of Syo-Ro.

Just can't pass these up. Less than $41 for two bottles and free two day shipping (with prime).

Someone let me know if it does arrive in a timely manner. Thanks!

I hope they arrive safely... My husband bought me a bottle for Christmas and it was shipped LOOSE in a plain Amazon box. Needless to say it arrived broken after flying around the box in transit.

Was it put right?

Nope, the GOULETS actually ended up helping me out with a new bottle. Adore them. The Amazon seller wasn't helpful, my sure who the seller was as my husband did the ordering.

Well, these are being sold directly by Amazon, so good news, I think.

Right, that was the problem I believe, Amazon doesn't know how to package ink. It was just tossed in an Amazon box with one little bag o air for "buffering."

Yeah, they are spare on the packaging. :) But they are also excellent about sending replacements for anything damaged during shipping. I've never had a problem with ink from them, but they have made good with other items that were damaged.

You do have to navigate their automated feedback system, however, which is kind of frustrating compared to being able to email a person.

Tsuki-yo on the way!

Well, I knew I wanted some Yama-budo but the free shipping on orders over $25 dollars FORCED me to buy a second bottle - oh dear - Ina-ho has joined it. :bump2:

It's being sold through Amazon... it's being sold by Santa Trading Japan GBI. This means Santa Trading (or a contractor; somebody besides Amazon) is handling the packaging and shipping. Otherwise the page's "Sold By" information will state that it was being sold by Santa Trading and shipped from Amazon's warehouse.

Anyway... I'm sorely tempted... fortunately (or not) the range of ink options is overwhelming and that's making it a little easier to not buy any of them... for now...

:smash:It looks like different colors are by different sellers.

I've received numerous bottles of ink from Amazon. They were securely packaged and promptly delivered. These were shipped and sold by Amazon - not a third party.

Couldn't be happier.

It just depends. I have sold on Amazon and they give you the option to ship the items yourself or send your inventory to an Amazon distribution center that takes care of the shipping when someone orders from you. So really, it could go either way.

Forgive me, but not in my case. I bought my Shin-kai directly from Amazon. It cost $20.37; I ordered it Monday night just before 7 and it arrived today, Wednesday morning, with free shipping and in perfect condition.

There are many items on Amazon that are sold by multiple sellers, and the lowest in-stock price usually comes up. That can indeed be a third-party seller like your Santa Trading. However, if you go to the right hand side of the page you will see "other buying choices," and if you click over there on "7 new" or whatever it says, you will see a list of all the sellers with prices and shipping options.

It does seem that after this thread we may have cleaned out Amazon on a lot of Pilot Iroshizuku. But you can still find a few bottles of the Shin-kai there, sold by Amazon. Maybe they won't keep selling it, but it was a great deal while it lasted, and I appreciate the heads up.

One thing of note, you do not need the typical Amazon $25 minimum order to get free shipping. The free shipping is being offered through the seller. I ordered a bottle of Kon-Peki.
