(Had problems with the other thread)
For your consideration is this Esterbrook J in red with a new sac, new cap jewel, and nice-writing 9556 iridium tipped Firm Fine Esterbrook Renew Point nib.
The cap and barrel have no cracks but quite a few scratches, dings, and other signs of use. Still, I find the red celluloid appealing. Look carefully at the pics to get an idea of condition. The imprint is visible.
The nib is in very good condition and is a somewhat dry writer, preferring wetter flowing inks. I tested with Waterman Serenity Blue which is a bit dry in this pen but still allows the nib to glide nicely over the Rhodia test paper.
I replaced the original, broken top cap jewel with a reproduction. Some fine machining marks remain. The clip does rotate on the cap if forced but is snug.
Price is $30 + shipping via USPS First Class.
If you'd prefer a 2668 M, 2556 F, or 1550/2550 XF, the Cost is $25 + shipping.
Paypal G&S accepted.
