The design of these pens incorporates decorative motifs emblematic of Imperial Russia. Catherine the Great pen features a gold plated overlay decoration on a aubergine-coloured barrel.
The pen has a 18 Karat Gold nib, into which the symbol of the Russian Empire - the two-headed eagle - is engraved.
