Sweet as a sip of wine, this Delta Chianti Classico was a Limited Edition of only 100 produced by Delta for Fountain Pen Hospital in New York. This piece is number 095/100.
The pen features a luscious deep red material highlighted by sterling silver trim. The clip is in the shape of grapes from which the wine is made, and the cap band is heavily carved showing the words "Chianti Classico". The nib is 18K gold Fine width, and writes a bit finer than most Italian pens with which I am familiar. Certainly it can be tuned to write a bit broader and wetter if the new owner desired. It is cartridge converter filled and measures approximately 137 mm long capped and 125 mm long uncapped.
The pen has been very lightly used and is complete with original boxes and papers, as well as the small bottle of ink.
