Hi all,

I thought I would offer some old Sheaffer's pens this week. They are
all restored and ready for your favorite ink!

If you see one or more pens that you like, please E-mail me at:

michael@northwestpenworks.com

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

1. 1930's Sheaffer's oversize flattop in black, model 8C Lifetime
White Dot. These later model Sheaffer's flattop pens can be identified
by the "long humped ball" clips and the levers used an internal split
"C" ring keeper, instead of a lever that was pinned through the
barrel. Also the nibs are a bit shorter (hidden by the section) than
earlier Sheaffer's pens and have a more stylized feed, that is
smooth and rounded on the underside. The ball of the clip has a
speck of brassing on either side. The trim otherwise is in very
nice condition. There is a small peck mark next to the groove at
the lever tip. The barrel has a nice deep sharp imprint.
The nib is a smooth writing Fine 14K Lifetime.

Price reduced to $210.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. circa 1924 Sheaffer's oversize flattop fountain pen in jade green.
This is the light green jade that is sometimes referred to as Lettuce
Green by pen collectors. It has a couple of pin head size spots of
brassing on either side of the clip ball. There is some light ambering
on the cap and barrel, but the color is very good and way above
average. The nib is a smooth wet writing Fine 14K Lifetime.

Price reduced to $199.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. 1937 to '45 Sheaffer's oversize "Premier" Balance pen in black.
There is no brassing on the clip, cap band or the lever. The lever has
a slight bend, probably do to someone trying to lift the lever against
an ossified ink sac. The cap has some slight unevenness on the back
side, between the cap band and the vent holes. The nib is a wet
writing Extra Fine two tone 14K."Lifetime". The nib is one of the
later ones that is upswept, just behind the tip.

Price $185.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
"Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail. I can also ship to other countries by
Priority Mail, but I prefer to ship by Express International Mail. I
have to charge by Express International Mail, depending on which
country the item will be sent to, but it can be insured and can
usually be tracked online.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. f there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
