vintage Japan Celluloid Pen Interesting clip Maker?

Any idea what year this pen is from and the maker? Nib says its gold plated.

Hhhmmm.....That's an interesting pen...I have very little knowledge of vintage Japanese pens, there are some around here who do. I understand that there were literally hundreds of pen manufacturers many of them were very small operations that were short lived.
Good luck in your hunt for information. Can we see a pic of the nib?

Just a naïve and honest question--what makes you think it is Japanese?

Absolutely nothing about this pen says Japanese to me. Of course there are od balls and one offs, but in many ways this would be an extremely unusual pen for the time period.
