So during time we were waiting for the LA pen show, some very nice people from Monteverde passed some bags around, and in those bags was a black plastic sheet. Does anyone have any idea what these could be used for? Sorry if this isn’t in the write (haha) forum.

Is it rectangular? It may be for the bottom of the bag.

Yes, that's an insert to keep the shape of the bottom of the free bags often given out at the pen shows.

You'll likely find the handles wear out by the end of the show.

They do that for some store tote bags too, otherwise the bottom of the bag gets all pointy and stuff, which is a pain for books and other misshapen things.

:P Can probably use em as a fan if you get too hot running around.
