Once again, I had high hopes for this ink, and once again, I'm a little disappointed, though this is has a lot more to do with my expectations than with any problem with the ink itself. Based on the name and the (admittedly) small swab, I was expecting something a little bluer. Instead, this ink has a greenish cast to it that reminds me of inks like Tsuki-yo and Diamine Prussian Blue. It behaves flawlessly, but the color is not quite what I had in mind. I ended up selling this one as well.

I quite like it! Looks like a slightly more vibrant Eau de Nil on my screen.

You wouldn't happen to have tried #40 Sumiyoshi brown or #32 Tamon purple grey, would you? I've been looking for reviews on those with no luck.

Is that really Indigo? I can't tell on my screen. It should be the purple end of blue, shouldn't it?

Whatever the description of "indigo blue", it does look like a pleasant ink and an appealing colour.

Wikipaedia has indigo on paper looking like this > http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/18/Indigo_plant_extract_sample.jpg So I guess its not far off

Very good review

I've read somewhere that Newton only placed indigo in between blue and violet because he wanted seven colours.

Edit: researched a bit and found that he thought there was a connection between the colours of the rainbow, the days of the week and the musical notes.

No, sorry, only a few of the blues!

I was asking because the computer screen here doesn't always give an accurate color rendering.

Here is the Indigo ink I want...

This actually IS my kind of blue. Thanks for the comparisons, now it lands on the wishlist as I like Diamine Prussian.

When I think of indigo, I think of a very dark denim, verging on purple. I think the Deep Dark Blue Diamine makes for Cult Pens and De Atramentis's Indigo are probably the closest I've seen.

I wish I still had some Prussian Blue, as I would have liked to compare the two. But based on old writings, they do seen quite comparable, with the PB being perhaps a little bluer than the Kobe.
