Parker 21 Deluxe

Neither of my Parker resources show this lined cap design for the "21 deluxe". Any information is appreciated.

Which resources are you referring to? The Deluxe steel cap with ridged clip came in a smooth 'Lustraloy' version and a polished chrome version with longitudinal grooves. They are both common.

I am curious why Parker used the gold silver theme on the Deluxe and not the Super.

I recently picked up a NOS one of these in green, and it's a gorgeous pen. I am not usually a fan of too much decoration on these 51/21 caps, but the lines and the gold trim look really good against the dark green barrel.
