No scratches or markings on the pen. It has been an everyday carry for me for the past year, so I would say it has normal signs of wear, but nothing that affects its performance. I enjoy using it but, since I have a couple of Ranga pens, I'm selling to help fund the purchase of a Lamy 2000.
