I'm certain it's a hard question; have you a favorite of the group?

I recently picked up a couple recently. A couple of Jonathan Swifts (FP and BP); and the small Mozart set (FP, BP and Pencil). I'm still waiting on the Swift BP. Since I was an English major and an existentialist, the Poe and the Dostoevsky hold great interest for me. The Verne as well but that goes beyond being into literature. I also must admit an bizarre interest in the MB James Dean.

Sheaffer Snorkel Valiant "1st Year", not a "limited edition" per se, but less common in having the 14K solid gold snorkel tubes that were only available on models sold in 1952

If I had to choose one, out of this lot, it would probably be the Saint Exupéry. It has an OM nib and it glides beautifully on paper.
But make no mistake, I only acquire pens that I like.
There are plenty of empty spaces in my collection, chronologically, because the design, feeling of the pens or colour scheme doesn't resonate with me.

Lovely Visconti Desert Springs!
And they tend to write just fine also.
But are an awful pain to clean properly, do you feel the same towards their ink reservoirs?

Sold mine at a loss since I was very disappointed in the nib and feed performance even after having sent it out 3 times.

Very lovely material and design... just didn't live up to the same in writing performance.

I agree that is just a beautiful pen; sorry to see you took a hit on owning it. Hopefully not too bad. It's a great looker for certain!!!!

Interesting pen; I'd not come across it. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll keep my eye out for one!!!
