To store my ink bottles, previously getting in the way on my desk and album shelves, I just finished installing floating shelves above my desk in the basement office.

Where do you store your inks and how many bottles do you have? I'd love to see pics.

I have a plastic 3 drawer storage thing that I keep all my guitar and music theory books in the bottom and all my vape stuff in the second and the top I have miscellaneous things and my 9 bottles of ink stay in that drawer. All of them being noodlers I like the art work and when I finally get more inks by different brands that have nice bottles I will probably get a shelf so I can see them.

Hey, the photo on the card propped with the ink looks just like the old train station in Hamburg, Pennsylvania USA.

I store my "active" inks in an artist paint box in a closet by my desk, which protects them from sunlight. Several brands and colors have been decanted into old 50ml MB bottles and labeled as such. Duplicate new bottles are in the drawer beneath the box. There are about 50 bottles all told, plus 5ml vials.

I have three pens; so I have three ink bottles; stored in my desk's drawer, next to the Scotch tape and earphones.

Sometimes I think I don't deserve to be a member of this forum [emoji28][emoji28]

I figured you'd spot that. It's a postcard you kindly included with that gorgeous Sheaffer Signature touchdown I bought from you. :)

@aremesal I think we need you to remind us what sanity looks like [emoji23]

Too many, mostly bottles, stacked in their original boxes in the bottom drawer of a filing cabinet. A few frequently used bottles in a cubby on my desk.

In the music room, on the bookcase shelf, over the harp, next to the Water Rower, between the Ukrainian oil portrait and the marble bust of Diana.

Arranged by color category.

Perhaps a dozen bottles.

Two bankers boxes and two shoeboxes (one with samples, one with the daily rotation inks). Don't judge.

I only have twenty bottles and maybe half a dozen sample vials (with four more in limbo). Roughly a third are in my desk drawer at work, the others are on a shelf above my computer in the study.

On a vintage (50s) wooden pharmacy cupboard, and a five drawer wooden archive box, until I don’t find the idoneous storage pièce officielle fourniture.
I have around 60 bottles, and going on.:)

Way too many inks for too many pens.

One bottle of each ink is in the center of a long dining room table, and the rest are on a shelf in the pantry.

I've been concerned about sunlight wearing out my inks...so I purchased a nice Cigar Box and store my inks in there.
My collection is small enough that I can do that.
I only have two more bottles of my Holy Grail ink coming in the mail next week...then my collection is pretty much complete until the 750th anniversary ink for J.Herbin comes out.

They are in a combined file and storage cabinet from IKEA. Reference and archived files are in the bottom. Ink, stationary, etc. are in the top.

The available inky drawers are full so quite a few of my inks are stored in boxes on the floor of a North facing bedroom.

@BlkWhiteFilmPix - Oops. Did you know your Montblanc Lucky Orange is upside down?

This was six months ago:

before my Diamine inks had to move out into these six boxes, five of which only contains bottles that have been opened, and the last one only unopened bottles:

There are also about fifty unopened bottles of (non-Diamine) ink sitting in cardboard cartons crammed under the guest bed.

Goodness gracious...
That's a LOT of ink!!!

I've seen where men have dozens of shave soaps pucks displayed like some of you display inks.

I cleared off a shelf in the linen closet, so the sun doesn't get to them. But I just got a new desk, and it has some drawer space. So I will probably move a few bottles to the desk for easy access, like a basic Quink, Waterman, or Skrip blue, black, and blue-black.

I have nowhere near as many inks as some. (which I'm astounded by, and a little envious of...) My half-dozen or so bottles occupy a corner of a drawer beside a bunch of pencils and pens.

I'm relatively new to having an ink "collection". I've only got 16, with 5 on the way. So far they live in (growing) clusters on the living room table and look great with a mess of papers and pens. That has got to stop!

Covid has been my savior here, but one of these days I'm going to have company again and the table will need to be cleared. I've got an antique desk with several compartments that I think I'll re-purpose as a pen and ink desk.

A bit over fifty, I think. About half are in one of my desk drawers, most of the rest on shelving in a cupboard in the same room, two on a separate shelf waiting to be tipped down the sink (or given to the first person I see walking past the house while holding a fountain pen; unlikely). They are grouped by brand and organised by colour. There are no favourites in the sense that if I do not like an ink then I will not keep it, otherwise each ink is used about as often as any other.

Every time my ink collection gets too big, I end up selling or donating some of it. I'm getting close again to one of those times.
