Very nice. I would like to see a review. Is this a new model?

The pen appears to be a US Market version of the Legance 89s. The difference seems to be that the Stargazer has a brass body and cap while the Legance 89s is marbled resin and has a more ornate cap band. Otherwise the shape, size, and clip are the same. The price of the Stargazer is inline with the price of the Legance 89s.

It looks a lot like the Stella 90s (old jetpens linkage: http://www.jetpens.com/Pilot-Stella-90s-Fountain-Pen-14K-Gold-Medium-Nib-Night-Blue/pd/2518)

Oh..I think you may be right. That means it is a smallish pen, right?

Yes, I think it will be roughly the same size as a Sailor Sapporo or Pilot Prera, IIRC.

The Stargazer is the same as the Stella 90 minus the engraving on the cap band. I forgot about the Stella 90s and the Legno 89. The Legance 89 is the same pen but with Marbled Resin while the Legno 89 is the same pen but with resin impregnated laminated wood as the body.

The Stella 90s 120mm long (capped) and 13.1 mm wide (at the widest point).

For those keeping track, these pens use the #3 nib Pilot nib.

In case you are wondering about the numbers, they refer to the year the pen was introduced relative to the founding of Pilot. The Stella 90 came out in 2008 during the 90th anniversary of Pilot.

This year is Pilot's 95th year. So far they have released the new version of the Justus aka the Justus 95. They also released a new version of the Elite, the Elite 95 (http://www.pilot.co.jp/products/pen/fountain/fountain/elite95s/), based on the 1974 model.

Does this mean the Custom 823 comes from the future? :jaw::jaw::jaw:
