I have neglected my pen collection for several years. I withdrew this one from the pen case this morning. Piston fill. Marvelous nib.

Could someone identify it? Thank you in advance.

That is a Visconti Moonlight Voyager. :)

Sorry, not a Voyager. This is a Visconti Rinascimento with a Vermeil (gold plated silver) barrel. You'll find a .925 hallmark indicating the silver barrel.

The Rinascimento came in a large variety of engraving patterns over the years in both vermeil and plain silver. It also came in a variety of cap and section acrylics. A google search will tell you if there is a special name for your Rinascimento.

Nice pen. Have fun,
Craig

I did a Google search and found several pictures of a Visconti Moonlight Voyager and thought the images matched the OP's pen.

Here is one at Bellamys World (https://bellamysworld.com/fountain-pens/visconti/visconti-moonlight-voyager-fountain-pen-ib02987)

Here is one at Peyton Street Pens (https://www.peytonstreetpens.com/visconti-voyager-fountain-pen-moonlight-pink-gold-vermeil-18k-broad-nib-near-mint-works-well.html)

They look very much like the same pen to me and don't have a band around the section next to the nib like the Rinascimento does.

OP I suggest that you Google "Visconti Gold barrel pens" and then select Images. :)

Thank you very much. It has been at least 7 years since I used it last. Very nice in the hand. . I think I have the traveling inkwell in the box somewhere.
