As the arrival of meteorological autumn ushers in longer nights, there's more time to indulge my love of the way black and white film captures night scenes ... https://www.bobsoltys.net/night

I love LEICA MONOCHROME. THE EPIC WORLD FIRST B&W CAMERA.
I am sure Fuji-film is the next GO TO CAMER.
I am a monochrome photographer and love Film.
WITH FUJI CAMERAS THEY HAVE A FILM SIMULATION BASED ON OLDER FUJI FILMS.
THOSE AI EMBEDDED INTO THE CANMER PROGRAMME WILL GIVE YOU A BEST ADVANTAGES AND EVEN WITH AN UNPROCESSED RAW DIGI FILE GIVES THE FAST QUALITY SHOT.

You can't really tell for sure, because the images are so small, but that Ilford Delta 3200 looks amazingly fine-grained for such a fast film stock.

Hi,

exposed @EI 1000 to 1600 the Delta 3200 (or Kodak's TMZ 3200) can give stunning results. :-)
I like them for indoor events / partys.
And Ilford makes Delta 3200 in 120, if a Rolleiflex, Hasselblad, Mamiya etc. is at hand...

Thank you. It is, @calumus. Much better than pushing Tri-X to 1600 as in the old days. (https://ilfordphotowordpresscom.wordpress.com/2017/03/14/street-photography-at-night-with-ilford-delta-3200-film-by-bob-soltys/)

11 x 14 enlargements of image of the Mercedes Benz in Paris show detail in the grill of the car. Same for the '57 Chevy passing by Eddie's.

When I brought my first-ever roll of Delta 3200 to Paris, I exposed it at EI 1600 because I saw that recommendation somewhere on the web. That worked well, so ...

Glad D3200 is available to 120 users.

Well done, Bob!

The shadows stay vivid with some texture,
I developed Delta 3200 in two bath Emofin to promote this...
Pushed TX gives a more harsh look.

Best

Disappeared four cameras and six lenses. Back to my roots. 1 camera, 1 lens, 1 film. Fuji X Pro2, Fujinon 27mm 2.8, Acros jpg, NR-4, H-1, S+1, Sharp -1. Been that way for a year or so.
