SOLD First is a catch-and-release for me: a Sailor Pro Gear Slim in their "Ocean" color from last year. I bought this pen on here for the nib and the color, both of which I love. But truth be told, I've tried three or four times to get into the Pro Gear Slim, and I just prefer the full-size version I already have. It writes an absolute dream, with plenty of natural line variation from the 14k gold music nib. It'll ship to you with an included Sailor converter and a generic box. Asking what I paid for it: $150 or best offer, including tracked/insured CONUS shipping.
Next up is my Waterman Preface in blue lacquer with an 18k gold stub nib! I bought this at last year's Ohio Pen show from my pal Ray Okoniewski, who shares my love of stubs and broads and italics. His name is actually engraved on the cap, so this came from his personal collection. I believe the pen was made in the late 1990s and was manufactured, as are most modern Watermans, in France. The cap secures onto the back of the pen with a super-satisfying click to post securely and comfortably. The pen is a wonderful, wonderful writer, and one of the loveliest stubs I've ever used—smooth, consistent, and just the right amount of wetness. The pen just doesn't jive with my hand so I don't use it much. I'm asking $120 or best offer for this guy, which will include a Waterman converter and tracked/insured CONUS shipping.
