Hello, is it true that this pen has some flexibility? I know it is not flexible but ... does the stroke have some variation if it is pressed a little?

Nomlenom,
This pen has a German generic nib it is not Flexible at all. If you are light-handed you can always mimic some line variation by slight pressure.
My above writing is not flex writing. This pen is a nice pen and the nib is having feedback. Not smooth and it is also helpful to emphasize slight line variations I guess.

Nomlenom,
This pen has a German generic nib.

Period, full stop. End of subject on that one. Sadly, the same can be said for at least 90% of the fountain pens out there these days.

They are good knock-around pens. I have it and it just works well without balking or being fussy.

Any pen( nib ) has a responsiness to a paper with the particular ink onto any kind of paper ( low quality or high quality or with different surface in variations), in this instance marked as varied weight in GSM.
You can have different line variations by chainging the ink velocity/ thickness too. There's no rocket science actually but if you understand how to use the pressure when you write with any pens you write.
I agree . This pen has a generic Schmidt #5 but it is less quality than Schmidt nibs as they were heavily used on many pens including Some well known Chinese pens. I am sure all nibs in every Muji pens are different to eachother.
I think it is because it represents the IKEA OF JAPAN fountain pen line. It is a nice pen and I remember I had to tune the nib to a wet nib and it writes good cursive with some line variations.
If someone says it is slightly responsive ( as the word flex is not applicable for me in these line of pens ) That's why I said it s not a flex nib. For me the flex nibs are very soft as DIP Pen nibs that write like brushes.
I have so many nibs with so many charactors instead of naming Flexy, I call them "Nibs with characters " and I love GERMAN NIBS AND the least quality SCHMIDT ARE too my favorites one very hard nibs with some feedback.

Cyril,
Ok, cleared up. Nowadays it is difficult to obtain flexible nibs, especially at a reasonable price, hence my search for options that if they are not 100% flexible that are at least semi-flexible such as the Kaweco Perkeo.

Nomlenom,
If you are looking for a ( Flex OK soft ) soft pen I can recommend you one amazing pen. modern Pelikan M200ef nib. But it is a steel EF nib very soft.
It is the only exception nib but do not get carried away to the notion of Flexible nib. The same pen Fine nib is different. Good pen for slight line variation and scatch and drawing etc. One of my favorite pens for cursive writing.

Cyril,
Thanks for the recommendation. I already had that pen in mind but with some doubts. I will definitely have to try it. Thank you!
