Help: Scrikss ink cartridges

Does anyone have a couple Scrikss ink cartridges they could sell me? They are made in Turkey, but don’t seem to be distributed much outside of country. I’ve found them in several Turkish online shops, but they don’t ship to the USA. grainweevil (who knows a heck of a lot more about this stuff than I do) said in the past they were frequently sold on eBay in calligraphy sets, but that doesn’t seem to be the case any longer.

You should try placing an ad in the Want to Buy or Trade (https://fpgeeks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php/9-Want-to-Buy-or-Trade) forum.

They look like standard international sized cartridges. Is there something special about Scrikss in particular that you need?

ahh.. good point about where to post this, thank you. I was just thinking folks who read here are inky focused. The reason I want these is I'm on a quest to acquire at least one ink from every country we identified in that Inks of the World thread and this is one of the last I need.

Just a thought: maybe Contact Yunus Perens at Galen Leather. They sell Scrikss pens so he may be able to get hold of some ink cartridges for you. Galen are very much part of the international fountain pen community so I’m sure he’ll help if he can.

While reading about Scrikss I noticed that they had struck a deal with Jif-Waterman to produce some of their pens. While no mention is made of them producing any ink, it's quite likely that the deal might also have included Waterman supplying Scrikss with their ink. :)

thanks to grainweevil, who put me in contact with another fountain pen enthusiast who lives in Turkey, my Scrikss ink is on it's way to a fountain pen near me.. woot!

I appreciate all the help and comments from this group. I need to check, but I think there may only be one more ink I need to circle the globe!
