What originally inspired the purchase of this pen?

Main inspiration for me to buy this pen was its nib. I own dozens of Montblanc, Pelikan, Sailor and Pilot pens. This Krone's nib performance is better than most of them.

Indeed! The tipping on it looks marvelous....appears to be a smooth writer on either side of the nib from the looks of it.
