Hi guys, not an expert in Waterman pens but I’ve stumbled across a 52 red ripple fountain pen and pencil set for $150. They seem to be in pretty good condition and will probably just need a new sac. Does anyone know what a good price for this is? Pictures belowhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210115/89f15adb028698a21594e7154638df13.jpg

Not my brand but make sure the lever box is good and look carefully for cracks in the barrel threads.

Its not usually my brand either but I’d thought I’d give it a try after hearing my cousin’s story of my grandfather always carrying around a Waterman.

That looks more like Waterman's Woodgrain pattern, a precursor to Ripple. Condition looks pretty good, and the Woodgrain is a good bit scarcer than Ripple. Price seems good, as the lever box looks intact. Looks like there is some length to those tines, as well. Did you get it?

Unfortunately not, the seller informed me that the lever box is broken, and I may be an amateur repairer, but I’m not taking on a broken lever box

Lever boxes can get expensive, especially solid gold ones.
