Hello,
My name is John, and I am currently from Lincoln, IL (the first city named for Abraham Lincoln and the only one christened by him).
I've always loved fountain pens, had several Sheaffer calligraphy pens growing up, and destroyed what was probably a Parker 45 as a kid in the 70's by using India ink in it and then trying to clean it with alcohol. I fell down the rabbit hole again 3 years ago and now have over 200 fountain pens!
I have restored several Sheaffer snorkels and touchdown fillers, as well as many lever fillers. I just finished installing a sac, hanging pressure bar, and button in an old Parker Lucky Curve that was missing its guts, but the flexy gold nib and the Lucky Curve feed were completely fine.
