149 Cap Engravings

So i recently purchased a 149 from someone on ebay and have some questions about authenticating the pen. I;m certain the nib is real as well as the feed, but am skeptical about the cap. Do all 149 clips have engravings underneath the clip (in between the clip and the cap)?

If it's a correct piston filling pen then don't have any concerns. The short answer is no - not all 149 clips have engravings underneath the clip.
