Good day forum members.
I have a recently acquired aerometric P51 with a nib that requires a little work. A bit scratchy, and doesn't start writing readily.
I do believe some tuning will fix the problem.
Can the members here recommend someone in the continental USA who can remedy the problem?
Many thanks, in advance.

Kirk Speer at Pen Realm. He also occasionally visits Dromgoules to do nib work.

Are you able to post images of nib please.

Top, bottom and side

If it is not damaged, the fix may be easier than you think

Indy Pen Dance was trained by Richard Binder, an ace. She -- Linda does the nib work -- is one of several well-regarded people.

I use Josh Lax, the president of the Big Apple Pen Club, of which I am a member. Josh is very good. Among other work he has done, Josh repaired -- recovered from the dead -- a Parker 100 that had fallen point-down.

And it’s called artificial intelligence?

Come on. Many of us have used the automatic garage door as a nib press the get the last bits of a wrinkle out of a bent tine.

One of the key advantages of a garage is the opportunity to create a highly organized space. With the right storage solutions such as shelves, cabinets, and overhead racks, you can arrange your belongings in a systematic and efficient manner. This makes it easier to find what you need, reduces clutter, and promotes a sense of orderliness. An organized garage can save you time and frustration, as you won't have to search through piles of items or deal with a messy living space. I've pretty much always done my own nib tuning. It's actually not that hard with a P 51 (depending on the extent of damage, of course). If it is "not starting well", I presume it is not so damaged as to be a lost cause, though.
All it takes is patience and an image of how you want it to look in the end.
