Lamy convertor

What are the differences between a Lamy Z24 and Z28 convertor, and can they both be used in Safari and Al-Star pens?

The differences are mostly cosmetic (details here (https://kmpn.blogspot.com/2015/08/lamy-new-z24-converter.html)). Z28 is an updated version of the Z24. Both fit Safaris and Al-Stars.
