Well I decided to jump back on the fountain pen bandwagon and ordered a Noodler's Ahab pen & some Antietam ink from Goulet pens. The pen and ink arrived and I inked it up to find that the pen is a great writer with a nice amount of flex. Not sure if the pen or the ink gives it a good amount of flow but enough to need a thicker paper to keep from bleed through.

Three days of use of the pen at work and journaling then I can't find the darn thing. Of the 300 or so pens that have gone through my hands it is the very last pen that I bought that I lose! Oh unkind fate.

Did you look in the fridge? That is where I keep finding the TV remote.

I find lots of stuff in the washroom, next to the toilet. You never know when you have to go. . .

I wash my pens in the bathroom then set them on top of a towel on the kitty litter box to dry. Yep.... thats my story and I'm sticking too it. Just don't ask about the ink in the medicine chest.

I sort of did the same thing with the FPR Dilli I got last week. So excited to see what it could, then whiff, it vanished. Can't find the dumb thing anywhere.

It wasn't a good writer like yours, Kurt, but dang, it *might* have been had it stuck around.

At work and Journaling, Hmmm... Did you leave it in your pants pocket? Did you check the laundry? I hope the cat didn't find it....

I find the same thing happens to me, likely it happens to all of us we put the thing down or get pulled to some other daily urgency and poof where did the pen go?

I typically clip a pen to shirt collars if I lack a shirt pocket and the laundry will turn up a missing article. The other thing I can suggest is thinking about when I last had it and try to remember what I was doing which often helps me recreate where I was and helps me recall where I likely left my pen.

My wife seems to have lost her favourite pen, a gift from me. I sucked my teeth and said that I'd replace it - she was ever so grateful.

The pen in question? A Hero 616. I know, I'm a cheapskate and a cad. But I'm looking forward to seeing her face when I hand over ten of them. :)

I know exactly where every one of my fountain pens is - but I can't find my watch.

I have, on occasion, lost my mind and my perspective, and even my way. But NEVER my pens. I hope it reappears soon!

I lost a pen once for six months. It drove me crazy because I absolutely knew that it was in my house somewhere. Turns out, it had fallen into a corner behind my desk and I found it while spring cleaning. It wrote right away, too, which impressed me!

I hope you find your pen. Check beneath the furniture. :)

I found the one I was looking for - tucked into my notebook, which I'd closed without noticing where the pen was. Oh b****. Could have saved myself a lot of time and crossness...
