SOLD!

Another antique store rescue. This poor little guy had been dropped on the nib and the tip was bent over the left. I carefully and slowly straightened the tines only to find out it wrote like crap now. The 2000 series nibs do not have tipping material. the nib tines are just folded over to make a tip. I cut off the tip and used various grades of micromesh to grind the nib to an italic stub. It is about a 0.8mm to 1.0mm and writes nice and smooth now. The body has a few marks here and there and there is a spot in the tail that has a scratch around the diameter. It's not new old stock, but it's not trashed like some I've seen either. A nice user grade dipless with an awesome regrind that will save you some money over looking for a new old stock italic nib or signature stub on online auction sites.
