Haven't been able to log-into Flickr all day and my pictures seem to have disappeared from my blog. Email address and password both show up as invalid. Is it just me?

Sorry to hear that Chrissy. :(
I just checked mine everything seems to be alright.
You can reset your password and see how things go.

BTW I checked your blog, everything seemed fine on my end ;)

I can't reset my password because my email is invalid. Tried that already. I can't see my Flickr images on my blog. Is that just me too?
Edit: Just tried on Chrome as an option to Safari and it's exactly the same.

Hi Chrissy try changing your password (https://help.flickr.com/en_us/change-or-reset-your-password-HkY6bMp1w)
That should normally work.
Yes some of the pages are missing images... but the last one still works:

Like I said in my previous reply I can't change my password. I have clicked to say change my password and it won't send me a link to change my password because it says my email address is invalid

I hate when that happens. We ditched both Bucket and Flickr for those very reasons.

But by any chance has your email been hacked?

That's odd, I just went to try to see the image Yazeh was able to pick up earlier and it's showing 404. I'm logged into Flickr.

It could be one of Flickr's Friday glitches, they sometimes have days where everything stops working properly, might be worth trying again later.

Chrissy, maybe try contacting Flickr directly.

I was communicating with their support earlier this year on my subscription payment. And they were quite responsive.

Service-wise, they are as reliable as usual, including today.

So far I've tried two different computers and two different browsers. I only get the error 404 front page. Nothing else. I'm not logged-in because my password and email address are both invalid and have sent a message to Contact support. Fingers crossed someone might send a reply soon.

I've made contact with them before and know that they are quite responsive. It's been two days of over 45mph windy weather here and I'm wondering if something has blown away.

The link works on the blog but not on Flickr.

For ex. I get this on the blog:

When I click on the photo, I get this:

Same experience as Yaz. Get a 404 on Flic site.

I have an active flic account, although I would not use them for anything serious. They are now owned by Smugmug, and they may have bit off more than they can chew. They seem to treat it as a red-headed stepchild. They have all the inherent problems of an age-old service. It's unreliable. The seem to reindex servers slowly. No doubt they don't want to invest much in it.

My serious image storage is with Smugmug, and they do a good job on their own property (although you do have to put up with a childish approach to business -- I'm sure they think it's just "fun"). I've used them well over 10 years with no issues.

I'm getting emails as normal so I don't think my email addy has been hacked. I wondered if my Flickr account had been hacked but don't think it would show me page 404 and others are also getting that.

It could be that your Flickr account is hacked, especially if your password was weak.
Or something wrong with Flickr...

I also hate when people tell me to delete cookies, but, Chrissy, have you tried this?

Yes I have. I deleted all of my Flickr history.

After receiving a terribly curt message on Monday telling me my account had been removed and I could never have another account on Flickr or Smugmug. Adding that I couldn't ask why because I wouldn't be given any reason or more information.
I sent a message asking what on earth did they think I had done so terribly wrong and asking if my account had been hijacked.

Today I received a reply: It looks like during one of our recent attempts to combat spam and advertisers on the site, your account was inadvertently caught up in one of our searches.
I restored your account and was unable to find a specific reason that would have deemed it to be spam related.

It's a shame it cost me a couple of sleepless nights and many hours updating my blog. :(

Chrissy, I'm sorry you have to go through that.

Do you have the Pro account? If yes, maybe ask them to give you some discount for their oversight?

Thank you for your comments Will. Sadly, not as sorry as I am. :( I don't have a Pro account although I've been a "trusted" member since 2002 and I was always Pro during the time Yahoo owned it because they owned BT until Smugmug bought it out. But I've never paid. As they are giving it to me for free, I can't really complain.
