Indianapolis! I have a fountain pen pal there who just moved out of the city to escape to the countryside.

When I think of Indianapolis, my brain shifts to a century ago when it was the center of electric interurban railway travel, the same era as my favorite fountain pens.

Oh, that's another hobby of mine.

Many years ago road paving crews downtown unearthed the old railway lines. It's a shame Indianapolis went backwards in that respect. However, recently they've been putting in bus stops that resemble train platforms and the busses even drive down the middle of the road in special lanes.
