All of mine are the 9550 fine nibs..I like them a lot. I should get some different ones to try maybe a stub.

Great looking pen. Red is one of my fav Esterbrook colors.

I am looking for a reasonably priced Red or black Transitional J without success.

Just got a Black Trans J with the ribbed jewel, and a 2314B nib from ebay myself!

Almost some icicle tendency there in the body. Full, rich red. Love those. I'm not that fond of 9550, though.
