ON HOLD

I really have to stop looking at every garage sale and antique store I see. Another rescue. Waterman Blue Marble Laureat with medium nib. It has the original cardboard box (has a tear), the original books and instructions etc, a spare parker washable blue cartridge and a spare fine nib! The rollerball has long since dried up, however, I am headed out to a few stationary stores this afternoon and will have a replacement blue refill installed for you. A very small amount of ink came out of the medium nib, and QUITE A LOT of ink came out of the fine. It looks like the original owner prefered fines however, judging from the condition of the pen I don't think this saw much use. The factory sticker on this box says $110

The nibs are gold in color, however looking at the construction of the nib and slit I am pretty sure this is just a plated steel nib.

$60 shipped.

This set is still for sale. The previous buyer flaked out and then it got packed away for our move. It's unpacked and ready to ship again.

$50 shipped? I just saw a set go for $200 on ebay which is ridiculous as they were only $110 new.......

I had someone ask me how the pen wrote:

I stole the converter out of my Waterman Perspective and inked it up with Diamine Florida Blue. It writes on the dry side to me. I would say a 4/10 on the wetness scale. It will keep up with writing but has the occasional dry start and it will not keep up with my flourishes which I make at roughly 100mph LOL. I usually like my nibs at 8/10 - 9/10 wetness to keep up with my flourishes. The pen is usable but geared more towards quick drying notes for a notebook that gets closed quickly instead of lusciously wet and sloppy correspondence.

I am new to this forum and unfamiliar with protocol.

Is this pen and pencil set available for sale at $60 shipped?

If so I am interested.

Thanks for replying.

I have a Waterman Loreat pen with a damaged nib. Perhaps you have ideas of how I can find a replacement or if there is a brand that is compatible? I have had no luck with a Google search.

Thanks,
Gran
