Pelikan M800 Tortoise

Oh yeah - the scarce one! Not 2019's Black Brown Stripe, but the seldom seen 2013 Tortoise! Have you seen one for sale lately? Well, yeah, there are a couple currently on Ebay for $1950 and $1999, but you can do one heck of a lot better right here, if you simply read on.

Pelikan M800 Tortoise from 2013 has become an absolute icon that is missing in most flocks. Here is one that has been very lightly used, and is complete with boxes, leatherette folio, and papers. The pictures show it with its current 18K gold Medium nib, but I can switch it to a Fine or Broad if you prefer.

There are numerous video reviews of this great pen available via Google, so I will get right to the heart of the matter. And you don't need to pay nearly $2 G's!

The two on ebay have been listed for half a decade now with no signs of selling. Past 4 of these pen sales that I know of, sold for 800-950€, two of which I sold for ~850€.

The pen is gorgeous otherwise. Good luck with sale.

The many people who have bought pens from me know they are always free to make an offer if they feel my pricing is too aggressive, and every such offer is treated with respect and answered promptly. I have in fact already received multiple offers higher than the range you have referenced. Perhaps the market in Europe is different than the market here in the US. Or perhaps the market has moved a bit since the sales you mention.

That's interesting, the market must have moved since then. Wouldn't surprise me, as prices of everything have increased lately.

Before listing mine, I did discuss it with one of the leading Pelikan sellers here in the US. He said the last one he had, he sold at a show in 2018 for $1500
