1) When I see my Parker 51 pen in after light i detected some micro scratches....which saddens me because it is a gift from my father that he gave me years ago .... So I would like to remove them. Do you consider as an expert that it would be risky for my pen to remove this micro scratches? Which product (s) would you recommend me? Just a liquid like Micro-Gloss or micro mesh pads? Here in Barcelona there is no qualify personal who can do this job....so I would not like to end up making a mess

2) I would like to know if you have any tools or technique to straighten the clip bar of my Parker 51 pencils? Do you consider that Do you think that the appearance of the clip could be improved? Again i would like to straighten the clip bar in the right position....but i dont ruin my Parker 51 pencils.

3) Finally, I would need to purchase the eraser with the metal ferrule (original prefer) that would fit perfectly on my parker 51 pencil.... Could you recommend me where i can purchase it?

I would really appreciated your answer or help
Best regards, and thanks for your time...

for polishing I use this:
https://www.meguiars.com/automotive/products/meguiars-plastx-clear-plastic-cleaner-polish-g12310-10-oz-liquid and a kiwi shoe shine cloth.
for the record, I consider your scratches to be very VERY minor. your pen appears to be in great shape

both clips look fine to me, and I would likely make NO adjustment to them.

for an eraser, you'll likely have to turn to ebay. and it won't be cheap. :/

The scratches also look very minor to me and are merely a reminder from when your father held, touched and used the pen. The most I would do would be to polish it with a Sunshine cloth.

P.S. For future reference please ensure that you place your images in the post. No-one likes going off site to somewhere else to look at images and it is unnecessary.
Read ^^^FAQ ^^^ >Reading and Posting messages > Attachments and Images and add them to your post.

If there's a metal ferrule, you can use it to cut a new eraser from one of those large drawing erasers. Be patient. Don't force it.

Contact Sam at Pendemonium about erasers. But leave the scratches; they are simply signs of a life. Wabi Sabi!
