Guidelines in FS/WTB fora

I'd recommend posting guidelines or rules for the classifieds section, such as r/pen_swap uses. Requiring timestamps (handwritten even better) and goods&services payment would cut down on fraud. There was a thread recently about somebody being a scam victim, and I received a scam offer with my very first WTB post. Those with extensive experience buying stuff from individuals online usually know how to avoid being scammed, but not everyone has that experience. Having a sticky with a transaction procedure recommended by the site would help those people.

Eric, the moderator/site owner has not been involved in this sort of way for several years at this point, so unfortunately I think this idea is probably dead in the water. The only recent actions taken have been to remove spam on the 'back end.'
