dovidu here,

today i completed 3 pens.

1. platinum 14K nib custom pen(asymmetry)

2. platinum 14K nib custom pen(symmetry)

3. eureka auag nib symmetry

all pens are urushi coated.

one of them is plain tamenuri

the other two pattern tamenuri

the asymmetry was especially difficult, as it was design from last year.

the design isn't optimized for urushi, so very difficult to perfect it in urushi.

maybe later this year i will redesign the asymmetry.

overall the new asymmetry will be slimmer, and the grip section will be compatible with the symmetry grip.

It is IMHO, but I prefer the transition of section to barrel of your "asymmetry" pen than the two "symmetry" pens.

Those are beautiful! I wish we could buy the raw urushi here in the US.

I also prefer the transition of section to barrel for the pen in the first picture but I prefer the patterned urushi in the last picture. :)
