Being that the Dallas Pen Show is my "home show", each of them is memorable in its own way to me. This year, with the pandemic cloud still clinging around us, we pushed through and had a great show. So that, in itself is memorable.

And, you don't realize that you can actually miss some of the familiar faces, a lot. Seeing those faces again after 2 years felt surprisingly good.

There are a few other photos that I could have shared with you at the show, not that I had a lot of chance to take photos, between talking to pen people about vintage flexible nibs at my table (this is a post in itself), making rounds to make sure that the vendors have what they needed, and preparing my first "Sketching with Fountain Pens" class, I don't have a lot of idle time.

But, no other photos that I took can beat this one:

At the end of the class, one of the attendees walked up to me and said "Here, you said that sketches can entertain others..." and she showed me her sketch of me, teaching the class, with mask on, and my glasses up. I was floored :D
