Hi y'all - I've used fountain pens since grade school, back when Sheaffer demonstrators were only $1. I inherited my parents' vintage pens (Shaeffer; Parker21) and after getting them in order I began to write again. During lockdown I wrote more notes and postcards with those pens than I had in years. Why ever would schools want to quit teaching cursive?! Kinda hard to print notes in lecture classes... I find it fun (and therapeutic) to copy poems, quotes or just doodle.
My own pens are affordable, reliable and easy to clean, since I'm rather fond of shimmer inks these days.
It's nice to be here - seems like a good group!
