View Full Version : Writing Accountability

I've got a couple writing projects I'm stalled on.

Seeking someone in a similar spot to work out an accountability scheme.

We'd have a Monday morning planning call and a Friday results reporting email with a spreadsheet (shared or not) to track results. (I'm in EST)

I've done accountability group/partner-type arrangements in the past and had very good results.

This is for you if:

You have writing you need (or want) to do
You aren't happy with how much of it you're getting done
You are able to show up for a video or phone call once a week as agreed
You are able to track your work (I can share the tools that worked well for me)

This is not for you if:

You want to maybe write a book someday
You're satisfied with your output
You're flaky about meetings and agreements
Getting more writing done won't seriously improve your life.

It would be fine if more than one wanted to join. NaNoWriMo participants may be interested.

Initially we would agree to a 4-week tryout and talk about continuing the program at week 5. Starting target date: 1 November 2021.

I've paid to be part of this kind of program and was really happy with the results. I'd like to try/lead one that's free to see if it works half as well.

what do you think? Ask me any questions.

I'm not the person you're looking for, but it sounds like a well-thought-out plan. I'd be interested to hear how it goes for you.

Fiction or non-fiction?
