Little while ago, when I was visiting in-laws for Thanksgiving, I grabbed about 4 fountain pens over a couple days at the same Antique Mall as I found them (all in all, my finds were under 100 total).

Of the four were two nearly identical green-ish grey Eversharp 5th Avenues (from the late 40s as it had the smaller nib/feed to correct for air flow problems, when they tried to use the skyline nib/feed in that hooding).

Both had intact sacs that seemed like maybe they were restored in the last couple years, and then just stashed away in a drawer, so I talc'd up the sac on the one with the nicer clip, did some water tests, and then inked it up with Edelstein Smokey Quartz.

I already owned a red/burgundy 5th Avenue with nearly an XXF/EF nib, so these two bring me to three total.

This one has a wet-leaning Fine-ish nib on a western sizing.

I like that the "5th Avenue" was more of an Art Deco design during a time that Art Deco was at a decline.

Thanks for the pictures. I haven't seen one of those in a long time.
