HI Guys

I am about to start looking to add either a M800 or M1000 to my collection, and will probably be buying it from ebay as there are no other options around where I live, no shops or shows.

Do I need to watch out for anything dodgy with these models, where there any obvious fakes I need to keep any eye out for or are they like the Montblanc pens with none made to fake their piston fillers.

Are there any eBay sellers I need to avoid or any that can be recommended.

Thanks for any advice

Paul

I am not aware of any faked tortoise M800s and there is no such beast as a tortoise M1000.
I do have some of these pens still available on my website. (www.thepenguinpen.com/potw22513.jsp)

There are obvious DERIVATIVES of Pelikan pens, but I've never ever seen a FAKE Pelikan.

Ok thanks.

That should make my search a little bit easier, now to find someone that is actually selling the pen in the pictures. Oh the joys of ebay shopping:) Shame I cannot afford a new one.
