The Montblanc Gandhi is the very first model from of the Great Characters Series. White lacquer barrel, 925 sterling silver trim, clip with mandarin garnet.
The design of the Limited Edition Mahatma Gandhi has been inspired by the symbol of India’s independence, a symbol also of Gandhi’s actions: the spinning wheel.
The design of the surface of the lacquer recalls the fine structure of cotton. The cap and cone with their complex ornamentation of Ag 925 sterling silver symbolize the thread, the mandarin garnet on the clip represents the orange in the Indian flag and reflects the high symbolic value of the spinning wheel.
The pen is piece number 754 out of the 3000 that have been produced.
The pen is in mint, unused condition. It comes with all original boxes, papers and packaging: Outer sleeve, outer box, display box, booklet, International Service Certificate, small hardcover sketchbook with Gandhi’s famous quotes.
