That would be awesome, KrazyIvan. Besides the yearly show, we have a pen club that officially meets in Richardson on the first Wednesday of every other month. On the months where there is no official meeting, there is an unofficial meet up for breakfast.

Just checked the schedule and if I can get out of work on Saturday I'll be driving up in the wee hours to make it for the opening on Friday morning. So I'm planning on being there.

I'm planning to go, my first pen show, not sure what day. I have a noobie question. I have a couple of pens I might have worked on, a Retro 51 that does not work, and a Pilot Metropolitan that I'd like to be a little drier. Should these pens be brought to the show inked, or thoroughly cleaned?

Deano, I asked the same question last year because I was bringing some pens to be worked on. There were varying opinions, but the consensus was to bring them unlinked. :)

Pretty busy for a rainy day in Dallas. I spent about 3 hours there today. The Andersons were crazy busy. They had one whole side of an aisle of stuff. Couldn't get near them to chat. Lots of regular sellers from what I recall from the last couple of years. I left without buying a single pen :-# I was able to get Pendleton Brown to grind a nib so I'm enjoying that tonight.
