I've seen a Swan E644B/60 Eternal for sale. I also found some info on Stephen Hull' book. The photo on the book shows, besides all the relevant data, Eternal stamped on the nib. The pen I've seen in the shop has all the relevant imprints on the pen body but the 6 nib is missing the Eternal imprint. Who knows what this pen has gone through in life but could this be a replacement with a 'standard' 6 nib? Was this a normal practice or it is a dubious 'repair'? Maybe there is no right answer?
Thank you
Marco

You got it right in the end: there is no right answer. The nib may have been exchanged at the original owner's request, it may have been damaged and replaced or the seller may have changed it to make it more saleable because Eternals are not popular with people who like flexibility.
