I’m surprised it’s not blue. Wife and I made it a point to try to visit the various churches that he had made glass for, and the blues in St. Stephen’s in Mainz are what immediately come to mind with Chagall.

I have this pen as a roller. Older Marlens are some my favorite pens.

Ok. I can still be surprised that the pen in this thread wasn't blue. Like I said, I think "blue" when I see "Chagall"; because of St. Stephen's in Mainz.

Honestly this is one of 16 pens I recently inherited. Kind of looking to price them out and get some feedback and sell. Although through research and exposure to fountain pens. It has peaked my interest to hold onto some of them. I will post more.

They are not popular pens, which is not a reflection of their quality.

Marlens are just not in vogue right now, so the prices you're seeing are probably realistic.
